So far so good! Fat bike newbie here. I picked this up based on the specs of the bike. I wanted BIG tires, 1x set up, hydraulic brakes, aluminum frame. I couldn’t find any reviews of this years 2019 model. I looked at other brands but they were all $1000+, so for $800 I thought this was a pretty good deal. And I wasn’t even sure how much I would like fat biking.So I’ve had it for about a month and have got about 100 miles on it. I ride on an old railroad trail, sand pit, and some fairly technical…

Seriously good fatbike value This is a great bike! I got into the Mongoose fat bikes starting with the Beast and Dolomite and have put together at least a dozen. Then got a Vinson which is a step up with alloy frame/wheels and 3-8 drivetrain, and now I have this Argus that is even finer! This one is now more than just a great value in a budget fatbike, it is a really solidly assembled serious trail bike. 4.9 tires on the one I got (not 4.8) and most all of the adjustments were spot on out of the box.
